Disneyland Paris, the former EuroDisney, is one of the great desires for a family trip (or why not alone) in Europe. As much as it is not the same size or with as many attractions as Walt Disney World Orlando, the magic of Mickey’s gang and all the Pixar movies and, now also, Marvel and Star Wars is incredible.
Important: learn more about health protocols on the official page: Enhanced health and safety measures at Disneyland Paris
It is close to Paris, less than 1 hour away, and it is even possible to stay in the center of the city of light and take a day trip. However, there are advantages to choosing a hotel close to the park, in addition to the fact that to enjoy all the toys and attractions available, just one day is not enough.
Important information about travel to France
Conditions to enter France vary depending on your country of origin. We invite you to refer to official sources for travel requirements.
The French Government has announced the upcoming launch of a Vaccine Pass for all people aged 16 years old and above to access leisure activities. Disneyland Paris will follow government requirements accordingly, however, the exact date and rules for implementation are pending official publication of the law and its implementation decree(s)
Disneyland Paris continues to work closely with the authorities and will share information about how this measure applies to our resort as soon as possible. A Health Pass currently remains required for any guests aged above 12 years and 2 months in order to visit the Disney Parks, the Disney Hotels and Disney Village.

Accommodation/Hotel options near Disneyland Paris
If you plan to go more than one day to Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park, the best option is to stay close to the parks. And for that there are two alternatives:
Disneyland Paris hotels
These are the hotels managed by Disneyland Paris and have advantages such as:
- Possibility to go to the parks on foot, the walking distance is from 5 minutes to a maximum of 20 minutes.
- Extra Magic Time, which you can enter 1 hour early at Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park.
- Decorations inspired by Disney and Pixar movies and characters.
- Some hotels offer FastPass and also Disney character encounters in their lobby.
Of course, for this reason, the price of stays is more expensive, but despite this, the availability of rooms is well disputed. Disneyland Paris has 5 hotels close to the parks and 2 more hotels in the Natural Resort.
Disney hotels are:
- Disneyland Hotel ***** – With Victorian decor, it is the most luxurious and is just 5 minutes from the entrance to the parks. It is the hotel with the most amenities and the most expensive.
- Disney’s Hotel New York® – The Art of Marvel **** – Manhattan-style hotel in the lobby and guest rooms, with Marvel artwork adorning the walls. It is possible to take selfies with the superheroes of the MCU.
- Disney’s Newport Bay Club **** – Its decor is inspired by early 20th century New England coastal mansions and is just a 15-minute walk from the parks.
- Disney’s Sequoia Lodge *** – Inspired by the wooden cabins of American forest parks, the hotel even offers barbecue in its restaurant. Also a 15 minute walk to the park gates.
- Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne ** – It’s the hotel we stayed at, we’ll talk more about it below.
- Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe ** – It is the cheapest hotel in the complex and has a decor similar to the motels on the famous US Route 66 and the Pixar Cars movies. Its distance to the park is 20 minutes
The hotels at Disney Natural Resort are:
- Villages Nature Paris **** – Further away from the Disneyland Paris parks, this resort offers 5 themed areas, including one of the largest water parks in Europe. The risk is staying at the hotel and not wanting to have fun in the parks.
- Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch – Also far from the parks, this resort offers apartments, a large indoor pool and a quieter structure. The big thing is that there are no transport services, so you need a car.
Hotéis próximos da Disneyland Paris
These are hotels close to Disneyland Paris parks and where it has a partnership mainly to have a free shuttle, buses that take and bring guests to the entrance of Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park.
The advantage is that they can have more affordable prices and other attractions in addition to the Disney magic. Some options:
- Radisson Blu Hotel **** – It’s the hotel we stayed at, we’ll talk more about it below.
- Vienna House Dream Castle Hotel **** – Luxury hotel inspired by historic European castles.
- Vienna House Magic Circus Hotel **** – This also luxurious hotel has some circus-themed rooms, which can be an option to please children.
- Kyriad Hotel *** – With the ambiance of hotels in the French countryside, it is a good option for those who want to see a little of the beauties of the country.
- B&B Hotel ** – New and comfortable hotel, with the most affordable price of all.
- Adagio Marne-la-Vallée Val d’Europe ** – They are apartments with kitchen for those who do not want to stay in a hotel, close to shops, restaurants and markets. Good option for those traveling with more people.
Our Disneyland Paris Travel Accommodation Experience
We’ve already tried the three alternatives available, including staying at a hotel near the Gare de Lyon train station in central Paris so we can go to Disneyland Paris. However, I only recommend this choice if you really only have one day to go to the park.
Our hotel in Paris was the Best Western Aurore, which is just a 5-minute walk from Gare de Lyon station. The room was small, reasonably clean, a good shower and most importantly, excellent soundproofing. And this is essential as it is a stay right in the middle of the center of Paris.
Going for the best alternatives, we’ve stayed both inside the park resort complex and in the surroundings.
Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne
The hotel we stayed at inside Disneyland Paris Resort was the Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne, 2-star category, one of the cheapest in the complex. Its decor is inspired by the Wild West with decor that should refer to the Toy Story movies, but that only stay in the country theme, including cow leather prints and lots of wood (or wooden replicas).
The structure of the hotel is pretty cool, replicating a movie town from western movies, including the bank, saloon, town hall, police station and so on, where the rooms, reception, restaurant and their administrative offices are actually located. We didn’t take advantage of it, as we spent most of our time in the parks, but the hotel has some attractions for children, such as a playground for Fort Apache.
It has a restaurant called Chuck Wagon Café, which offers a hearty breakfast buffet. They also offer lunch and dinner, but we didn’t try them, apart from having a Disney store and a Starbucks.
Like the other hotels offered by Disneyland Paris, you can walk to the park entrance in just 20 minutes or use the shuttle bus for free. Also including the advantage of offering the Extra Magic Time, which you can enter 1 hour before Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park.
For detailed pricing and availability information, visit the Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne Booking page.
Radisson Blu Hotel Paris near Disneyland Paris
Because it is a more affordable option, the first time we went to Disneyland Paris, we chose to stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel Paris. The hotel has good infrastructure for families with small children, the rooms and beds are large and comfortable. Not to say that everything was rosy, the Internet failed from time to time and the breakfast was not as varied.
On the other hand, the shuttle service, the bus to the parks, works very well. As soon as we checked in, we received a paper with the schedule, which was followed exactly. The only concern is the need to book in advance, to avoid not having a seat, especially at peak times. The way back was smoother, as the hotel always had two buses available.
Just 10 minutes by transport from the parks, it is a good option if you are looking for more affordable accommodation compared to the hotels in the Disneyland Paris Complex.
For detailed pricing and availability, visit the Radison Blu Hotel Paris page on Booking.com.

EXTRA: How to buy Disneyland Paris tickets?
I always recommend buying tickets via our partner GetYourGuide, as you have some advantages:
- The price is the same as buying on the Disney website.
- There is an intermediary to help you in case of any problem
- And it helps us, because we have a small commission (remembering that the price is the same as buying directly with Disney)
The link to make the purchase is Disneyland Paris Ticket for multiple days, on the website there are also other options such as tickets for a single day.
