Fira De Santa Llúcia

Since 1786, in front of the Barcelona Cathedral, the Santa Llúcia Fair has been organized, the oldest fair dedicated to nativity scenes and Christmas traditions and one of the most popular in the city.

Every year, the Christmas market brings joy to visitors in Plaza de la Seu and Avenida de la Catedral with a wide variety of artisanal products and foods from the Spanish Christmas festivities.

Sagrada Familia Swimming Fair

Organized since 1962, the Sagrada Família Christmas Fair takes place in Plaça de la Sagrada Família in front of Gaudi’s monument, the “Passió” facade.

With several stalls with crafts and Christmas foods, the Christmas market also includes cultural activities such as parades, musical and theatrical performances, as well as other attractions.

La Feria de Reyes de la Gran Vía

See the festive side of Madrid during a private tour of the city’s Christmas lights while riding in an electric tuk-tuk. Pass the Paseo del Prado museums, Neptune Fountain and other illuminated landmarks.

Discover the twinkling lights that brilliantly decorate the exteriors of some of Madrid’s most famous sites and monuments, such as the National Library of Spain and the Cibeles Fountain.

Stroll through the elegant neighborhoods of Salamanca and Retiro, whose streets are lined with designer boutiques, refined restaurants and luxury hotels. Marvel at the facades of the Church of Saint Jerome Royal, Museo del Prado and Palacio de las Cortes.

Every year, a tourist bus (the kind you sit on in the open area at the top) tours the city’s most famous squares, streets and avenues, all of them decorated with Christmas lights. The most interesting thing is that they are organized in different colors and shapes.

It’s quite worth the trip.
