Creamfields 2026 is an electronic music festival that brings together big names from the world electronic scene. Its main brand is pioneering, being the first major event to present live shows and performances by DJs and electronic musicians on the main stage. It takes place in the city of Daresbury between better known places like Liverpool and Manchester in England.
Creamfields 2026 at Daresbury Estate, Cheshire, is scheduled for the August Bank Holiday weekend, running from Thursday, August 27th to Sunday, August 30th, 2026, marking their 20th anniversary at the venue with major electronic music acts like Calvin Harris and Swedish House Mafia.
Recognized for attracting the biggest names in electronic music, as well as its massive production design and ambitious staging, each year more than 300 artists perform on 30 stages over the weekend.

Glastonbury Festival in Pilton in England, United Kingdom
The Glastonbury Festival is the second largest open-air music festival in the world and is primarily known for its musical performances, but also features dance, humour, theatre, circus, cabaret and other art forms.
There are no Glastonbury Festival dates for 2026 because it’s a planned “fallow year” for the farm to recover, with the next festival set for June 23-27, 2027 at Worthy Farm.
Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts is a five-day contemporary performing arts festival held annually in England. Glastonbury is frequented by around 200,000 people, therefore requiring extensive security, transport, water and electricity supply infrastructure. Primavera Sound 2026 is a music festival held in Barcelona, Spain, and Porto, Portugal. It is one of the biggest and most visited music festivals in Europe and the biggest in the Mediterranean.

Paris Jazz Festival in Parc floral de Paris, Paris, France
The dates of the Paris Jazz Festival in 2026 have not yet been announced and we also have no information about its schedule and shows.
The Paris Jazz Festival is an open-air music festival that takes place between mid-June and late July on the verdant lawns of the Floral Park in Paris. The shows take place at various points in the park with more than 30 shows in total, spread over 8 weekends. The line-up focuses on jazz, world music and African American music (soul, blues).
The Paris Jazz Festival was founded in the spring of 1994 by Franck Marchal and Olivier Bastardie and is one of the biggest musical events in the city of lights. Founded by two jazz fans, the Paris Jazz Festival (formerly “A fleurs de Jazz”) skillfully combines jazz melodies and the harmony of nature. Since its debut, the festival has been supported by the Parc Floral de Paris, which lends its flourishing, verdant setting to jazz lovers.

Reading and Leeds Festivals in Reading and Leeds, UK
Reading and Leeds 2026, are music festivals that take place annually in the cities of Reading and Leeds in England. The festivals take place simultaneously during August and share the same lineup of bands on different days.
The Reading & Leeds Festivals 2026 will feature six headliners: Charli XCX, Chase & Status, Dave, Florence + The Machine, Fontaines D.C., and RAYE, marking the first all-British/Irish headlining lineup in 25 years, with other acts like Skepta, Kneecap, and Kasabian also confirmed for the August Bank Holiday weekend.
In the beginning Reading festival had a strong folk orientation, but nowadays the most common styles are alternative rock / indie rock / punk rock / metal.

Rock Am Ring 2026 and Rock im Park 2026 are rock music festivals that take place annually at the Nürburgring Race Track in Nürburg and Nuremberg in Germany. Together they are the biggest music festivals in Germany and one of the biggest in the world.

Sziget Festival in Budapest, Hungary
The Sziget Festival 2026 takes place on an island in the Danube River, which is transformed into a world of music, art and culture. Sziget is known as “Freedom Island” and welcomes around 500,000 people from all over the world every year.

Roskilde in Roskilde, Denmark
Roskilde Festival 2026 is an 8-day Danish music festival held annually south of the city of Roskilde. It is one of the biggest music festivals in Europe and the biggest in the Nordic countries. It was created in 1971 by two students, Mogens Sandfær and Jesper Switzer Møller, and event promoter Carl Fischer. In 1972, the festival was taken over by the Roskilde Foundation, which has since managed the festival as a non-profit organization for the development and support of music, culture and humanism. In 2014, the Roskilde Foundation gave festival attendees the opportunity to nominate and vote which organizations should receive funds raised by the festival.
The Roskilde Festival was Denmark’s first music festival designed for hippies and today embraces more mainstream youth from Scandinavia and the rest of Europe. Most visitors to the festival are Danes, but there are also many visitors from elsewhere, especially from other Scandinavian countries and Germany.

EXIT Festival Global Tour
EXIT Festival is pivoting in 2026 to a global tour, “The First Chapter,” after leaving its traditional Novi Sad, Serbia home due to political pressure, so there won’t be a main festival at the Petrovaradin Fortress; instead, expect events in Croatia, North Macedonia, Malta, Egypt (Giza), India (Mumbai), and a special No Sleep Festival in Belgrade, with specific dates and headliners for these new locations still being announced, though past lineups suggest big names.
The Exit Festival 2026, or Egzit in Serbian, is a music festival that takes place annually during the summer in the city of Novi Sad, Serbia. The festival focuses on rock and electronic music and is held annually in the summer at Petrovaradin Fortress.
The festival was founded in 2000 and usually lasts for four days. The initiators were a group of students from the University of Novi Sad who wanted to offer young people in Serbia an alternative and a cultural renaissance after the break-up of Yugoslavia, a kind of “way out”. Despite the financial and other crises, Exit has become one of the most important music events in southeastern Europe and, alongside the Guča Trumpet Festival, the biggest in Serbia. It kind of contrasts with the Guča Trumpet Festival, which is more dedicated to patriotism, while Exit represents a cosmopolitan side of Serbia.
In 2007, Exit was voted Best Music Festival in Europe by the UK Festival Awards in association with Yourope. In the same year, the festival set a record with a good 190,000 visitors.

Lollapalooza in Europe
Lollapalooza 2026 is an alternative music festival (or various music festivals) that takes place annually in various cities around the world. It features genres like alternative rock, heavy metal, punk rock, grunge, comedy and dance performances, and craft booths. It also offers platforms for political and non-profit groups.
The origin of the term Lollapalooza is unknown. It probably dates from around 1900 and represents either an outstanding example or something extraordinarily impressive.
Lollapalooza is one of the most famous music festivals in the world. The four-day Chicago extravaganza features a lineup that includes the world’s biggest artists across all genres and the hottest newcomers.
Since its inception in 1991, the Lollapalooza brand has grown steadily, expanding from its US-based festival to other cities and countries around the world. What began as a 1991 festival tour by Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell has turned into a unique musical experience with editions across the globe.
Since 2011, the event has unfolded in Chile, Brazil and Argentina. In 2015, Lollapalooza took place for the first time in Europe, at the time still on the site of the former Tempelhof Airport in Berlin.
